Happy to see the sunshine today after a very wet weekend. We are all looking forward to sunshine and warmer days ahead. Today there was a rare sighting of a Red Cardinal in the centre courtyard, popping in to say hello!
Move-In Incentive - $1000 off your rent for a referral
Applefest Lodge is delighted to offer residents, $1000 off their rent, if you refer someone to Applefest Lodge. The term of the residency must last at least 90 calendar days from and including your move-in date. Surveillance Testing - As shared in previous updates, we are no longer asking visitors or staff to complete a Rapid Antigen Test upon arrival at Applefest Lodge. Staff will be asked to test at home should they feel unwell before coming into the home.
All visitors must sign in and back out again in the lobby when they are visiting Applefest and please sign your loved one's out and back in when leaving the property for an appointment or a short stay absence.
We have noticed many vehicles driving at high speed up the driveway, residents, visitors and staff walk or sit at the front of the building. Please slow down for the safety of all.
Masking and Screening- Remains mandatory for all team members, essential caregivers and visitors entering our Home and medical masks must be worn when moving around in the Home.
Note, masks may be removed when inside a resident’s room by visitors (not team members) provided the Home is not in an Outbreak or the resident is not isolated due to illness.
Do not visit the Home if you are feeling unwell or have been potentially exposed to a suspect or confirmed case of COVID-19. We are always happy to arrange a virtual visit.
Rent payments - If you are not already set up for the Pre-Authorized Debit payments, please complete the new Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) agreement please Click here print, complete, sign and return it by email (gail.ellis@applefestlodge.ca) mail or hand deliver it to the home as soon as possible.
